பணம் மற்றும் நாட்டின் நிதி முறைமை பற்றிய அறிவு சமூகத்தில் ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட சிலருக்கு மாத்திரமே மட்டுப்படுத்தப்பட்டிருக்குமாயின், அது பாரியதொரு பிரச்சினையாகும் எனப் பிரதமரும் கல்வி அமைச்சருமான கலாநிதி ஹரிணி அமரசூரிய தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

கொழும்பு உலக வர்த்தக மையத்தில் அமைந்துள்ள கொழும்புப் பங்குச் சந்தை வளாகத்தில் ஒக்டோபர் 05 ஆம் திகதி நடைபெற்ற கொழும்புப் பங்குச் சந்தையின் 40 ஆவது ஆண்டு நிறைவு விழாவில் பிரதம அதிதியாகக் கலந்துகொண்டு உரையாற்றும் போதே பிரதமர் இந்த விடயத்தைக் குறிப்பிட்டார்.

The Prime Minister voiced these insights while participating as the Chief Guest at the commemorative event held on October 05 at the World Trade Center premises in Colombo, marking the 40th anniversary of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE).

She emphasized that it is imperative to empower every citizen across the nation with the essential financial literacy to manage their hard-earned income effectively, cultivate responsible savings, comprehend systemic market risks, and make sound investments. Prime Minister Amarasuriya further underlined the critical necessity of equipping the public with robust awareness to safeguard themselves from fraudulent financial schemes and predatory scams.
