நீண்ட ஓய்வு தேவை…

சில மனிதர்களின் வார்த்தைகளை விட்டு,

மனதை கிழித்த பார்வைகளை விட்டு,

கால்புணர்ச்சியின் கசப்பை விட்டு,

போட்டி பொறாமையின் நஞ்சை விட்டு,

பொய்யான பாசத்தின் போர்வையை விட்டு…

மீண்டும் மீண்டும் காயப்படுத்தும் நினைவுகளை விட்டு,

மறக்க முயன்றும் மறையாத துன்பங்களை விட்டு,

மௌனமாக அழ வைத்த இரவுகளை விட்டு,

மனதின் சுவாசத்தை நெரித்த நாட்களை விட்டு…

நீண்ட ஓய்வு தேவை

அர்த்தமில்லாத ஒப்பீடுகளை விட்டு,

அளவில்லாத எதிர்பார்ப்புகளை விட்டு,

அடித்து சென்ற உறவுகளை விட்டு,

அமைதியை திருடிச் சென்ற மனிதர்களை விட்டு…

நீண்ட ஓய்வு தேவை

சொல்ல முடியாத காயங்களை விட்டு,

சிரிப்பின் பின்னால் மறைந்த கண்ணீரை விட்டு,

உள்ளத்தில் தங்கிய கனமான நினைவுகளை விட்டு,

உயிரை சோர்வாக்கிய தருணங்களை விட்டு…

நீண்ட ஓய்வு தேவை

மனம் தன்னைத் தானே தேடும் வரை,

உள்ளம் மீண்டும் சுவாசிக்கும் வரை,

கண்ணீர் உலரும் காலம் வரும் வரை,

காயங்கள் மெதுவாக மறையும் வரை…

கொஞ்சமாவது ஓய்வு தேவை

அலைகள் பேச மறந்த இரவில்,

கடல் தன் மனதை தேடுகிறத

கரை தொட்ட ஒவ்வொரு தடமும்

ஒரு கண்ணீராய் மாறுகிறது… 

ஆகையால் நீண்ட ஓய்வு தேவை

நிலவின் வெளிச்சம் மெய்யாகும் வரை

நிழலின் மீதும் நம்பிக்கை வரும்வரை

தனிமையின் தாலாட்டில் கண்ணயரும் வரை

விழிப்பில் கனவுகள் மெய்ப்படும் வரை...

மனதுக்கு ஓய்வு தேவை

நீண்ட ஓய்வு தேவை மீண்டெழ….

கருமை துறத்தும் நாட்களை விட்டு…

துயரம் கைகோர்த்த பாதையை விட்டு…

நேர்மை இல்லாத மூத்தோரை விட்டு…

உண்மை தலை கவிழ்ந்த இடத்தை விட்டு…..!

බොරු සෙනෙහසේ වෙස් මුහුණෙන් මිදී…

නැවත නැවතත් රිදවන මතකයන්ගෙන් මිදී,

අමතක කිරීමට වෙර දරන මුත් නොමැකෙන දුක්වලින් මිදී,

නිහඬව හැඬවූ රාත්‍රීන්ගෙන් මිදී,

සිතේ හුස්ම හිර කළ දවස්වලින් මිදී…

දිගු විවේකයක් අවශ්‍යයි

නිසරු සංසන්දනයන්ගෙන් මිදී,

නිමක් නැති බලාපොරොත්තු වලින් මිදී,

ඈතට ගසාගෙන ගිය සබඳතාවලින් මිදී,

සාමය සොරාගත් මිනිසුන්ගෙන් මිදී…

දිගු විවේකයක් අවශ්‍යයි

ප්‍රකාශ කළ නොහැකි තුවාලවලින් මිදී,

සිනහව පිටුපස සැඟවුණු කඳුළින් මිදී,

සිතේ රැඳුණු බර මතකයන්ගෙන් මිදී,

ජීවිතය වෙහෙසට පත් කළ මොහොතින් මිදී…

දිගු විවේකයක් අවශ්‍යයි

සිත තමා තුළම තමා සොයා ගන්නා තෙක්,

හදවත නැවත හුස්ම ගන්නා තෙක්,

කඳුළු වියළෙන කාලය එන තෙක්,

තුවාල සෙමෙන් සුව වන තෙක්…

පොඩ්ඩක්වත් විවේකයක් අවශ්‍යයි

රළ කතා කිරීමට අමතක කළ රාත්‍රියේදී,

මුහුද තම සිත සොයයි

වෙරළට ආ සෑම වාරයක්ම

එක් කඳුළක් බවට පත් වෙයි…

එබැවින් දිගු විවේකයක් අවශ්‍යයි

සඳ එළිය සත්‍ය වන තෙක්

සෙවනැල්ල කෙරෙහි පවා විශ්වාසය එන තෙක්

හුදකලාවේ නැළවිල්ලෙන් නිදා ගන්නා තෙක්

අවදියේදී සිහින සැබෑ වන තෙක්...

සිතට විවේකයක් අවශ්‍යයි

නැවත නැගී සිටීමට දිගු විවේකයක් අවශ්‍යයි….

අඳුර හඹා එන දවස්වලින් මිදී…

දුක අත්වැල් බැඳගත් මාවතින් මිදී…

අවංකකම නැති වැඩිහිටියන්ගෙන් මිදී…

සත්‍යය හිස නමා ගත් තැනින් මිදී…..!

A long rest is needed…

Away from the words of some people,

Away from the poison of envy and competition,

Away from the cloak of false affection…

Away from memories that hurt again and again,

Away from sorrows that linger despite trying to forget,

Away from the nights that made me weep in silence,

Away from the days that choked the heart's breath…

A long rest is needed.

Away from meaningless comparisons,

Away from boundless expectations,

Away from the relationships that washed away,

Away from the people who stole my peace…

A long rest is needed.

Away from the wounds that cannot be told,

Away from the tears hidden behind a smile,

Away from the heavy memories dwelling in the soul,

Away from the moments that exhausted the life within…

A long rest is needed.

Until the mind finds itself again,

Until the heart breathes once more,

Until the time comes for the tears to dry,

Until the wounds slowly fade away…

At least a little rest is needed.

On the night when the waves forgot to speak,

The sea searches for its own soul.

Every time it touched the shore,

It turned into a tear…
