கொழும்பு பொறளை மகசின் சிறைச்சாலையில் நேற்று இரவு (06) ஏற்பட்ட பதற்றமான சூழ்நிலை தற்போது முழுமையாகக் கட்டுப்பாட்டுக்குள் கொண்டுவரப்பட்டுள்ளதாக நீதி மற்றும் தேசிய ஒருமைப்பாடு அமைச்சர் ஹர்ஷன நாணயக்கார தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

நேற்று இரவு சிறைச்சாலையின் 'E' பிரிவில் தடுத்து வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த கைதிகள் குழுவொன்று திடீரென வன்முறையில் ஈடுபட்டதையடுத்து அங்கு அமைதியற்ற சூழல் உருவானது.

சம்பவ இடத்திற்கு உடனடியாகச் சென்ற பொலிஸார் மற்றும் பொலிஸ் விசேட அதிரடிப்படையினரின் உதவியுடன் நிலைமை கட்டுப்பாட்டுக்குள் கொண்டுவரப்பட்டதாக அமைச்சர் உறுதிப்படுத்தியுள்ளார்.

ඊයේ රාත්‍රියේ බන්ධනාගාරයේ 'E' කොටසේ රඳවා සිටි සිරකරුවන් පිරිසක් ප්‍රචණ්ඩ ලෙස හැසිරීමත් සමඟ මෙම නොසන්සුන්තාව හටගෙන තිබුණි.

පොලිසිය සහ පොලිස් විශේෂ කාර්ය බළකායේ මැදිහත්වීමෙන් තත්ත්වය සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම පාලනය කළ බව අමාත්‍යවරයා වැඩිදුරටත් තහවුරු කළේය.

#Situation at Borella Magazine Prison Under Control: Minister Harshana Nanayakkara

Justice and National Integration Minister Harshana Nanayakkara confirmed that the tense situation that arose at the Borella Magazine Prison last night (06) has been brought completely under control.

Unrest broke out last night when a group of inmates detained in Section 'E' of the prison turned violent inside the premises.

The Minister assured that prompt action by the Police and the Police Special Task Force (STF) contained the situation and restored order at the prison complex.
